6th Amate Paper
Students study the purpose of Amate paper in the Ancient and Mayan culture, they define the landscapes of their lives, and make their own Amate paper. Modeled from Amate Bark 3D paintings.
6th Sign Language Hands
This is the second year I have done this project and it was a great success. I start this lesson off with as the celebration of Black History Month. Students watch a brief video, discuss what it means and then we dissect a quote from a famous Black Hero.
